Taper notes:
Quite possibly the most impressive show that I saw in 2012 (meaning "exceeded expectations"), and both the sound and
the performance on this tape back up that assertion in spades. A shit-hot cracklin' band added punch to George like
no other...the rhythm guitars hum and rattle your chest, the drums punch right through you, the high end is near
perfect, the bass is well rounded and aurally legible, the brass is sharp and clear, and George is sloppy and ugly
yet has charisma and pussy to burn. He had Alaska eating out of his hand, this show was one 90 minute "rock song",
the 'ballad' was 1B1S1B, there was no weak song, no filler, every song was played twice as heavy as the last. This
show has been played at least 200 times since being recorded, or, yeah, an average of 15 times...per month...and I'm
STILL not sick of it, as the sounds that were captured keep it fresh.....stay classy Traders Den, there's lots more
killer sounding shit where this one came from.
