Gil Scott Heron & The Midnight Band
Lane County Civic Center
Eugene, OR
January 12, 1978

Notes: This is my first torrent so I hope I did it right.
I saw a previous Gil Scott Heron torrent and the description
said that there were only 2 GSH shows from the 70's in circulation.
This Eugene show was not mentioned as one of the two available.
So, for what it's worth, I thought I'd try to share this with
whoever might want it.

I recorded it from KZEL-FM on some sort of stereo cassette deck
(I don't recall what I had at that time) so I can't give that
as part of the lineage.

The recording is a decent FM recording. The few "dropouts" in the rap
leading into 95 South are actually from twists in the original tape.
They sound more like minor tape stretches.

The cassette tape flip comes in the middle of "Home Is Where the Hatred Is".

Finally, I wasn't quite sure how most folks would like this tracked because
he raps into every single song. So I started the track at the start of music.
The only exception is when the rap and music were integrated. This would
be on the beginning drums, Home Is Where The Hatred Is and the encore-The Bottle.
