A Dutchbird production: recording and mastering.
Source: 2x DPA4061-> CA-9100 (custom built for DPA mics)-> Edirol R-09 (48kHz/24bit)
Recorded about 2 meters from the left speaker stacks.

Lineage: SD card-> PC-> SoundForge 9.0 and Audacity (volumes, bass roll-off, fades, click removal, dithering to 16bit/44.1kHz)
Track splits CDWave, encoded to flac 8 & checksum with TLH

I made 2 recordings: this one using the DPA4061's and another one using my CA14's.
At times a slight crackle can be heard, but the recording is too nice not to be shared and it's not very
disturbing. The applause was very loud compared to the music, so I had to lower it a lot.
As the DPA are omnis and the CA14's are cardiods, the recordings differ in " colour".
Normally I prefer the CA14's in the main hall of the Paradiso (it's a difficult hall to record from),
but I think this time the DPA's gave a nicer, warmer and more natural result. That this was an acsoutic show and
that the audience was quiet during the songs helped.

Later this week I'll upload the recording made with the CA14's. I try a mix of the 2 sources as
well. If it has added value I'll share that one as well.

Enough technical talk. The 1.500 tickets were sold out in one day, so the venue was packed.
As expected the show was fantastic and the audience was respectful during the songs (a rare thing
in the Paradiso's main hall) and wildly entusiastic between songs and after Dave's solos.
Dave got annoyed with photographers in the front row, waving great SRL's. After some remarks they stopped.
