Recording position: Sitting on the Right aisle of the Center Section in Row J of the Balcony.

I got to the Fox Theatre way early - too early to set up my recorder and plug in my mics. So I got distracted chatting with my neighbors and didn't realize that the gig was about to start. The venue was only about 10% full when Gillian and Dave started their set, so it didn't have the feel of a gig that was about to begin. Suddenly the lights went out, and I realized that I hadn't plugged in my mics or battery box, set my level, etc. So I was fumbling in the dark by the light of my iPhone to do this. Consequently I missed recording the first minute or so of the Gillian & Dave's set.

thamblet11 from TTD kindly sent me the first track of his recording (which to the best of my knowledge he hasn't uploaded anywhere). The lineage for that track is:
Source: Audience Schoeps CCM4 > Aerco > PCM-M1 > DAT
Transfer: DAT master > CDR > EAC > ProTools (tracking & fades) > xACT2.12 > flac(8)

BigDee did an amazing job patching my recording with thamblet11's first track, as well as mastering the recording as a whole! The patch is pretty seamless. BigDee did an incredible job mastering this.

However, since most people arrived during Gillian and Dave's set, you can hear people finding their seats, etc. in the background. It doesn't compete with the music, but it is in the background.

Several people requested that I post this, and since this show hasn't turned up on DIME or anywhere else that I've looked, I've finally done so. It isn't perfect, but it sounds pretty good.

Setlist:
1. That's the Way That It Goes
2. Elvis Presley Blues
3. No One Knows My Name
4. Throw Me a Rope
5. I Want to Sing That Rock and Roll
6. Time (The Revelator)
7. Sweet Tooth
8. Look at Miss Ohio
9. I'll Fly Away

Please support these artists by buying their music and going to their gigs!

Enjoy!
