This was my first taping experience at the Tally Ho. I set up in a standard stack position and was disappointed to discover that the vocals could be clear, distant, or mildly distorted all within the same song. I held my position since I didn't want to wander around while recording so I'll need to try from a different location next time to determine if it was a bad PA or an isolated case of a heavy-handed board op. I would love to make this venue a regular on my list since my car knows how to drive to Leesburg by itself.
