Ab dem 3. Pop & Blues Festival im Oktober 1970, inzwischen f�nfzehn geworden, war ich dabei. The Cream und die kurzlebige Supergroup Blind Faith hatten sich aufgel�st, und das Idol unserer letzten Realschuljahre, der Schlagzeuger Ginger Baker, trat mit seiner neuen Gruppe Airforce auf.....
.....Vorn auf der B�hne lag ein ausgeh�hlter Baumstamm, auf den Ginger Baker mit zwei massiven Kn�ppeln eindrosch. Das mochte nicht besonders virtuos sein, aber es war etwas Ungeh�rtes. Was sich sp�ter zu �World Music� entwickeln sollte, war bereits angelegt, wozu auch die exotische Zusammensetzung seiner Truppe beitrug (Baker wandte sich in jenen Jahren Nigeria zu und arbeitete u. a. mit Fela Kuti zusammen).
