Notes:
This show was moved from Sleeping Village to the Park West; 3x the capacity and still sold-out.
Groovy band with groovy tunes. They played both of their EPs, plus a cover of one of Charanjit
Singh's ragas (to a disco beat!), which I thought fit the rest of their set well.
My level setting turned out to be a little hot, but only just. Bass on the floor of the Park
West was absolutely t h u m p i n g, and the clipping was limited to just some of the peaks
from the kick drum, and I doubt you'll hear anything out of sorts on this circulation copy. EQ
involved dumping huge loads of bass below 80Hz (yet there's so much the end result is *still*
punchy), moderately boosting mids, and lightly lifting highs. The worst of the loud claps between
tunes have been enveloped.
