Hi everyone -
So a friend kindly arranged for me to be at this show - and this was my first time seeing Glen live and first time in Kings Theatre - a new gem in Brooklyn, just stunning-looking freshly renovated venue in a totally unlikely location :)
There were quite a few stresses at the beginning - not just not knowing anything about the place, but they were kind of late letting us in… Then I discovered that my seat was pretty far in the back… and that my stupid battery/bass roll-off unit bailed.
All of this aside, I ripped quite a few benefits: there were a few empty seats in my row, so I could move laterally and escape any unwanted audience interference ;) And I got my set-up working perfectly without the bass roll-off just 10 min before the opener (Rich Thompson) - and hey, this is not heavy metal - the tape turned out great!!
Glen was on fire - he played 2.5 hrs straight, and seemed to be in an awesome mood. Lots of stories! And god, I wish I knew who was the unplanned striking-sounding singer-lady who climbed onto the stage for Her Mercy and basically sang the whole song!

Many thanks again to a friend who got met into the Brooklyn show and of course to Matt for mastering my raw tape!

Please check Glen out if you don’t know him - he will be touring Europe in the spring… and he is just a total bliss to see live.
