Hi everyone -
This is my 2nd night seeing Glen (Brooklyn show is coming), now in my borough and my favorite theatre! Cause there’s no place like home :) But I liked the first one so much, that I wanted to see him again and now, not from the back of the venue but ‘close and personal’! Because he is definitely the artist who you want to see from relatively close - there are no fancy lights and effects - and he performs some songs totally off-mic (those are of course quieter…). The show was sold out and I have been watching StubHub all day like the stock market - and… at almost 5 PM, checked back at Ticketmaster and out of the blue snatched this row C center ticket at face value!! Just how often does this happen?! Tapewise - the sound at the Beacon is always great, there are some claps and whooohoos from particularly enthusiastic audience members, but those are for the most part in between songs, during Glen’s stories. Also, there was a not-terribly-sober guy up in the balcony who would engage in those dialogues with Glen - and those I think were totally hilarious in their own right. Especially when Glen started imitating that guy :-)

Many thanks again to a friend who got met into the Brooklyn show and of course to Matt for mastering my raw tape!

Please check Glen out if you don’t know him - he will be touring Europe in the spring… and he is just a total bliss to see live.
