SBD 2nd gen. Beta Hi-Fi audio tape. Not the world's best soundboard mix ever but still very listenable. It's a bit overdriven in the first song and sounds like the master VHS video tape used auto levels. The mix tends to be heavy on the drums, bass and keyboards, but I still like it and hope that you will too. Please check the samples to get an idea of the sound quality.

The master for this was a tripod-mounted video camera and VHS deck at the soundboard. Unfortunately, the camera suffered from poor low light performance, making zooms problematic as the camera struggled to auto-focus. For that reason, I decided to seed the audio first and will post the video after I finish authoring it (hopefully in the next few days). I don't think that this has circulated before as audio or video.

Transfer: Sony SL-HF1000 > Apple Macintosh Final Cut Pro > AIFF > Pro Tools [minor "nip and tuck" edits, normalization, tracking and downsampling to 44.1] > AIFF files > xACT (flac level 8 files with sector boundaries verified).
