and to reservatory for track 16 correction.
(still not sure about track 8 or 13 though.)
thanks to malrobek for eliminating
any sign of an interruption in the

lineage:
Realistic mini mikes >
Sony D-6 cassette deck (dolby off) >
Maxell XLII-S cassette >
played on Nak. 125 into soundforge (WAV) with realtek soundcard >
FLAC (sb's aligned) > torrentially yours. first seeded in 2009.
reseeded in 2011 with some re-tracking, setlist and
sb aligning (of all tracks) in re-conversion to flac.
(both those posts come from the same original wav files made for this posting.
there was no "reconversion" of flac > wav > flac to align the sb's for the 2011 post,
but there was a need to re-convert for re-aligning sb's of tracks 9-17 after the new splicing.)
I don't usually do that just for a splice fix, but in this case
I thought it was a big improvement over before, so I did it.
because the previous splice sounded like a skip in a record.
no other changes were made to the flac files of this 2011 posting.
tracks 1-8 are unchanged from the previous posting in 2011.
a this and that, masters of ??? production.
Do not sell this recording.
Not all that is golden can be bought and solden.
Share freely, losslessly and gaplessly.
comments:
this is from the "blast of silence" tour, the followup to
"visions of excess". It's alot more high energy rock style
than the previous tour, and without having heard the album
and not a single 87 GP show listed in etree or listing of
blast of silence track titles that I could find, it was not
possible for me to put together any kind of an educated
setlist for this, when it was first posted, but other than
that (and no Jack Bruce) this was a nice show.
that's twice I thought I might get jacked with the palominos
and didn't, so I was disappointed about that, but did manage
to get this recording to come out pleasantly. since the dime
community has been able to help alot with some other missing
titles in Palominos posts past, I called on them for help on
this and some came through. this band has gone through several
personnel and style changes (alternative, pop, new wave electronica,
pop, rock, even some rock and roll).
I would have posted this sooner if I could have figured out the
setlist for it. But better to share this show that was probably
previously uncirculated, with a half (almost) setlist than not
share it at all. there's just one interruption in the recording,
a few seconds to flip the tape over during track 9, which had a
song go into another one without any pause, (as track 3 does here)
the rest is there from beginning to end of the show. thanks to the
expertise of malrobek, you'll never know there's anything missing
for a tape flip any more, so this 2013 posting has a new track 9
and sb's had to be realigned from there, otherwise it's from the
same files as were posted in 2011, and still burnable to CD with
no sb aligning needed.
I cut out about 40 seconds of the encore break applause to make
this fit conveniently on one 80 min. CD. no music or stage talk
was removed and nothing was speeded up to "make it fit" on 1 CD.
