Fine capture and almost nothing to complain about, besides the fact that the first song jumps in about 2 minutes after the band took up the stage. Overall sound is more than ok to my ears,
and a nice listening. I've increased the high end just a tiny little bit to give this a more satisfying listening. A few nice shots from our dear master of concert photography are included
as well. Unfortunately a rather short show which is missing two major longtracks, that were absent from the April show I posted from SEETHEFUZZ7.

Well, for working reasons I could not make it to STONED FROM THE UNDERGROUND this July. While going through this freaking amount of tapes from dear friend LORD DIE, I regret not being
there to help with the taping. But the LORD is a strong man, so he'd done that on his own and covered quite a lot bands, whereas me lazy fool would've simply "layin' in the shade and
drinkin' an ice cold beer" (quote OZARK MOUNTAIN DAREDEVILS). Anyway, from talks I heard, it wasn't that hot, but more rainy and humid. For stonergods sake, I simply hate weather like that.
You know, you can't move without sweating to hell and even got the warm downpour on your head...tropic feeling in central europe. We don't need that over here or the other bads news from
the eastern part of this continent. Dangerous times are at the gates.
Back to music! Here's the first of several tapes from LORD DIE recorded at STONED 14, and this features a band that was grounded way back in 1998 in Bristol, in the land of the roaring
three lions. Somday in between 2008 and 2013 they changed their lineup to a pure instrumental Stoner/Heavy70's act and did succeed in that metamorph very well. Their songs are very
varied on different influences, and of course, their version of the "BLACK SABBATH" theme with Beth Gibbons of PORTISHEAD on vcals is simply mindblowing...But that's not on this recording,
maybe they played it backstage? Who knows...Hope you like this start to STONED FROM THE UNDERGROUND 2014...SB.
