Gordon Lightfoot
Bob Hope Theater
Stockton, CA
October 15, 2008
Zoom H2 --> Pro Tools --> flac
Recorded 9th row, dead center
It was a nice mellow Wednesday night. Gord was in good spirits and the band played well. Nice respectful crowd, and a decent recording. Kris Kristofferson was in attendance, and he stayed backstage for the whole show. Some of us were hoping for a duet, but it did not come to pass.
Of note is a female fan shouting her devotion (with good timing), a story about Elvis, and some banter by Gord about Kris and the old days. I tweaked the sound a little and it should be an enjoyable listen!
The show runs about 91:40, the first set ends with The Wreck, so should CD1.
