This is a special upload for a couple of reasons; 1) I believe this is pretty rare recording of GM (I'll explain why in a moment) and 2) I have a very special request directed towards all of the veteran old-school Mule collectors who, like myself, are trying to obtain all of the available, high-quality recordings of the Mule with Woody. If you have enjoyed my GM uploads over the past several months here at TTD, please see and consider my special request below ...

Friday night with the Mule at the Fox in Boulder. I was all geared up from the previous night and knew the show would be significantly different than the Thursday night show. I arrived early at the Fox ready to patch into another mic stand, and I waited and waited ..... It was about half way through the opening act (can't remember who it was), when I came to the realization that there was not going to be a tapers section that evening. I couldn't believe with all of the mic stands and rigs going on Thursday and not a one showed up on Friday -unbelievable-, sad but true. Fortunately, I had my stealth mics with me (never leave home without them) and another guy with a recorder (who also intended to patch in) had a make shift mic stand. So. we made our own tapers section, hanging my stealth mics onto the make-shift mic stand and hoping for the best. So, this recording is a bit sub-standard from a normal GM taper's section recording, but its not too bad at all (sample included). But, more importantly, this could be the only master recording available from this show, because of the lack of recorders from that night. So, enjoy this rarity and now please consider my special request ....

************ SPECIAL REQUEST ******** PLEASE READ *********

If you follow my uploads, I rarely ask for anything in return as I've made it my life mission (for now) to make sure all of my rare ROIOs and masters from my 40 years of collecting are uploaded and shared with all. When I started to upload my GM shows (starting in August 2015), I really wasn't aware of the BT.ETREE.ORG torrent site mainly for jam bands and bands that are cool with taping. Over the years, hundreds of quality GM shows have been uploaded over there. Unfortunately, latecomers (like myself) see all of the unseeded torrents, start to leech and hope that some kind soul will start seeding the shows.

If you go over to BT.ETREE.ORG and run a search on Gov't Mule, you will see what I'm talking about. I am trying to leech well over a hundred shows right now hoping for some seeds.

So, I ask, beg and plead for seeders over there. And for those of you who would like more old-school Mule, you might want to start leeching on some of those torrents as, I have expectations that the great TTD base will rise up and help us out. I have an xls of all of the shows I am trying to grab over there (with links to each torrent), but if you could just seed a show or two that folks are trying to leech from, that would be very appreciated too. Thanks for lending me your ear and your consideration on helping us out.
