First tour post-Woody with Chuck Leavell. I think the biggest frustration I have with the post-Woody GM version is that the driving bass ferocity that Woody brought to each and every show is now gone, and I think that's the new sound Warren wanted - less bass, more keyboards. That's all fine, but I wish they would have named the new band something else besides GM. It would have a great gesture and tribute to Woody if they would have retired the name GM, especially if Warren had plans to move away from the original sound. But, hey, it's just a name. I certainly have a few other things to worry about in life than the GM name, so lets get on with it ;-)
