Taper Notes:Made home made wind screens out of outer charcaoal material
for smaller personal air cleaners.Material is about an 1/8 inch thick, made
two wraps around the shotguns and cut two small strips for the front of
microphones, secured with thin velcro strips. My ideal was to create
windscreens out of a cheaper material, easily accessable,in which I could
add more for windier situations if needed.Had the perfect windy/rainy
scenario to experiment with, did not add any more material!Worked very well
IMO,but you decide. Thanks to Paul for the old-school taper knowledge to apply
with my newer recorder!Next rainy event I'll try to tear down equipment faster
and to not soak all present in our party, not that we wern't all ready soaked!
I realy enjoyed the show and another new venue reasonably close to travel to,
I look forward to going back again soon!Only flaw was a Mic bump in "Mule"
as the stand tried to take flight in the wind, thanks Paul for quick save!
Enjoy!
