St. Patty's Day Block Party

Source: SBD > iRiver H120 @ 16bit/44.1khz
DSP: iRiver > Wavelab (fades) > Cubase 3.0 SX (channel fix) > CDWave (tracking) > TLH 2.2.2 (flac 8)
Recorded, tagged and seeded by Nick Burlison

This year was plagued by torrential down pours. That didn't stop the party, though. There was a tent setup to shelter everyone from the rain. But due to the massive flooding, "Lake Callaghan" was formed in the middle of the tent. This provided for additional entertainment throughout the evening.

Unfortunately, this lake formation also happen to take out the right subwoofer that was sitting on the ground (powered > passive main), so the rest of the night was run with only the left channel.

When I finally got around to listening to the mix, I was left with only one channel. So for this seed, I copied the left channel over to the right to make the recording complete. I think he was mixing in mono anyway, so this shouldn't be an issue on the recording.

If you're a Grayson fan, there is some classic on-stage banter here....Grayson's Dad sings a tune and a there's even a couple of Dog appearances throughout the evening.

If you're not a Grayson fan, download it anyway. You'll enjoy the 2hrs + of rott-n-roll!
