Total Time ::: 1:12:40

::: VG+ steady AUD (MUCH better than the Mk1 version!). Check samples for derision, self-determination, delight.
::: Warts: Repaired dullspots & dropouts but surely missed a few (there were hardly any). Tape actually in great shape, Mk1 is muffled, but Mk2 sounds pretty damn fine. #01 starts 2-3secs late. Somewhat rowdy AUD but not problematic during music, sometimes loud at very ends/starts of songs. Couple of bits of clapping but most near-mike claps in music cleaned up (some left in #25).
::: CONTRAST CLAUSE: This is the Mk2 remaster with EQ&lite NR (alleviating muffling). The Mk1 NO EQorNR remaster may be found elsewhere.
::: "Gravity Talks"had been released in '83, but there are only 5 of 12 songs from it in this full show.
::: At this gig, GonR play all but 2 songs that'd be issued on "Gas Food Lodging" in (March?) '85.
::: Rather early but fully developed versions of some songs (&earliest"Sympathy For The Devil"cover to surface,so far?).
::: Judging by the Mk2 EQ steady fat sound, the master must be NICE! Can YOU upgrade us to an M or M1?
::: Removed 4+ minutes straight of VERY rowdy applause & chanting cut out before 2nd encore.
::: Chuck "Billy The Kid" Prophet IV already on board, so must have joined sometime in summer 1984.
::: Hopin' GonR management might sign off on archive.org to catalog GonR live gigs - probably be a good PR move!

DimeTravel 744 ::: Thanks to the original taper & traders! Sincere thanks to whomever uploads this for me. ::: Corrections welcome ::: What sounds like it could have been a full-throttle gig from the opening notes but gets off to a bit of a hard start in the first couple of songs as Dan's monitor is feeding back (not audible from AUD), but overall, pretty blasting - even come out&repeat "Sixteen Ways" for a 2nd encore at double tempo! Band does pretty well with the scene overall - sounds like a number of the people think they are at a football game - but most sound appreciative & certainly pleased when the band plays "Gravity Talks". My personal opinion is - right f*ckin' on, this band is GOING PLACES. They wiped the map with their incredibly unique sound for several years & recording after recording proves it without a doubt. A powerhouse. (Further to that football game comment... The Mudd Club, which was the famed Cue Club in the 60s, was in the center of the bar action in Gothenburg, only a few blocks from IFK Göteborg team's hometown, my suspicion really is a game might have let out earlier & all the clubs filled with people partying. Not your typical Euro AUD & it's extremely unlikely GonR had this level of following in Sweden by mid-84, no matter how advanced the tastes of Swedes generally, or how well-deserved the adulation for this band. And I could be well be wrong!). Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yrs truly, Knees
