Total Time ::: 54:06

::: VERY fine wide stereo AUD with a few distractions. Check samples for nuts & bolts analysis or instant byte injection.
::: WARTS ::: NOT too many! Quality slightly erratic & occasionally folks movin' around changes sound a bit. #1 starts late. #9 has bad splice in middle (too bad!). #11 has bit o' tape fatique at start. Taper had a heavy hand on level knobs at times & moved mikes around some but much was compensated for during remastering. Dullspots mostly repaired but surely missed a few.

Recording Information ::: unknown stereo cassette recorder & microphones -> master wide stereo audience cassette -> 1st generation cassette -> 2nd generation Maxell XLII-90 cassette, Dolby B on.

Playback 2011-08-15 ::: 2nd generation Maxell XLII-90 cassette on Nakamichi BX-300 cassette deck, Dolby B on, azimuth & speed adjusted (pitched!) for individual recording, heads cleaned & demagnetized -> Tascam CD-RW900SL CD Recorder -> CDrw (LPCM 44.10kHz/16bit WAV files) -> EAC verified/computer -> Audacity [normalisation to remove DC offset, channel/phase alignment, fades, manual one-at-a-time glitch, bump, pop, click, dropout & dullspot repairs, volume adjustments, further speed fix -1.2% single pass after spectral analysis & pitchpipe verification, NO equalisation] -> CD Wave (track splits) -> flacs (Trader's Little Helper) -> yr ears. First uploaded week of 2014-03-07.

Line-up ::: Dan "Big Daddy" Stuart - guitars, vocals // Chuck "Billy The Kid" Prophet IV - guitars, vocals // Chris "Chez" Cacavas - keyboards, vocals // Jack "Jake" Waterson - electric bass, vocals // Alex "Big Dog" MacNicol -drums.

Nothing here ever commercially released to my knowledge. If I'm wrong, please advise & I'll take the offending trax offline.

DimeTravel 014 ::: Thanks to the original taper & traders! Believe this originated from Mr Mills and/or his buddies - some of the original GreenOnRedHeads. ::: Corrections welcome ::: A champion of a GonR show from their peak year for me. Look what delights you get packed into a 54 minute set. These songs shoulda left them millionaires, but such are the whims of fate. While not the definitive show for the era, it has the f'ing magic without a doubt. You won't get more than 10 minutes in before you are hooked & realise something special is goin' on. Killer guitar work on "Fading Away". Incredible how well documented this band was during what I consider their golden years of 1985-86. So many people had landed portable cassette recorders by then, but there must have been something more goin' on or we would have equal evidence for many other bands of their ilk & the recordings simply aren't there for many of them in real quantities, whereas with GonR, I was astounded to receive tape after tape from their tours during this era. Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yers truly, Knees
