comments:
Recently I brought you 3 torrents of the refined, polished
Greg Kihn Band. playing their big hits. I have one more that
is before they had any hits (that I'd heard of), or Greg Douglass
and when Jeopardy was a game show hosted by Art Fleming (I think
whoever did it before Alex Trabek). this was just about a year
before the demise of WBCN's takeover by robot people, a very common
problem in America in the early 80's, and before Kihn was trying
to be a poppy star. This was before "rocKihnroll" (I think), but
this is RocKihnroll style music, maybe more than any FM show I've
heard of his, because it's early raw Greg, a little like the (recently
reseeded by the Commish) Steve Hopkins audie post of Boston 76.
This was broadcasted on WBCN's (now LONG forgotten and abandoned
by the robotoids) "Basement Tapes" series.
Do not sell this recording.
Trade freely and losslessly.
