Show Notes: This was a killer show. I left Syracuse and started my cassett tape with a 120 minute cassette.
My deck would flip the tapes. I drove 50 minutes to the show in Utica. Well, I ended up getting the 51:23 you see here.
Wish I could have gotten the whole thing, well I did in person! If anyone has ANY Grinderswitch, contact me.
I saw them open for ABB in Nassau and fell in love with them! I got in touch with Dru Lombar, lead guitr and
vocals about 3 years ago and traded emails during the summer of 2005. He passed away from a heart attack in
September 2005. I was very saddened as I told him I would come out and record him as he was
planning on touring. Never happened. Also of note, joe Don Petty was their bass player. Many of
you would remember him from the back of ABB Live At Fillmore East. He was part ofg the ABB road
crew. By 1979, the Organ Playing Steve Miller had joind Grinderswitch and added lots of good textures.
