Notes:
JEMS master recording. Very good to excellent sounding recording. For this show Guadalcanal Diary opened for R.E.M.
"I had never seen Guadalcanal Diary until this run of NW shows where they opened for R.E.M. and over the course of the three nights we saw them, we pretty much fell in love with the band. The fellow Georgians made perfect tour partners for R.E.M. and Murray Attaway is one of those underrated band leaders and songwriters who just never quite got his due. As captured here, the band is super tight and the show is flush with hooky dynamics, though the highlight was clearly the stirring cover of "Kumbaya." Who thought that song could ever be described as rousing?"
