Guided by Voices - 2022 03 30 The Catalyst Club, Santa Cruz, CA

This is my mix of two sources (internal mics + CSB mics). I also have the other versions tracked, if anyone is interested.

Show note:
Missed the San Francisco show, but this made up for it. Same setlist, but different order. No opening band, 50 songs, two and half hours. What more could you want? There was a guy over my right shoulder who was quite talkative, but luckily he doesn't intrude too much on the recording. By the end of the night, everyone was feeling no pain.

Recording note:
Used my Tascam DR-40x in 4-track mode with internal mics and CSB mics. The CSB recording had more audible clapping, which I limited to reduce the noise. CSB mics captured the highs better, but the internal mics had better low-end and presence. I mixed them equally, normalized the volume, and removed some claps at the start of several songs.
