The Wheatland Music Festival is a music and arts festival organized by the Wheatland Music Organization, a non-profit organization specializing in the preservation and presentation of traditional arts and music. It was first held in 1974 and almost every year since except 2020 when it was derailed by the pandemic. The 2021 festival in the planning stages for September 10th - 12th.

In 1999, Guy Clark and Verlon Thompson played two sets on the evening of September 11th and the afternoon of September 12th.

The two sets shared only one song and the evening show was much more of a "mainstream" show with Guy doing many of his most well known songs. An almost completely different show was played on the 12th.

Another pristine 1st Generation Soundboard and absolutely killer performance.

Thanks to a very old friend for facilitating the acquisition of these tapes.
A big thanks to prof goody for always making sure the shows I release are in tune and pitch perfect.
