What a night this must have been, billed as "Legends Of Country Music" featuring Guy Clark, Ramblin' Jack Elliott and Charlie Louvin.

The trio played five shows at Yoshi's in Oakland from October 22nd to 26th. Yoshi's is an Oakland Jazz club known for booking alternate music styles during the San Francisco Jazz Festival. For you trivia buffs this was apparently the first country show booked into the club.

If you were fortunate to attend any of the five show you witnesses three legends of country music give master classes in songwriting, telling jokes and how to wrap an audience around your finger.

San Francisco western swing band Johnny Dilks & His Visitacian Valley Boys opened the show and then backed Charlie Louvin during his set.

Based on the dialogue, there is possibly one song missing after "Gonna Lay My Old Guitar Down".

Thanks to Goody for the pitch work on this one and to the original source for this recordings.
