TheCommish notes:
My third time seeing this fine band and once again the delivered the goods. Although Harold Melvin passed away in 1997 and former Blue Note Teddy Pendergrass passed away in 2010, Mr. Melvin's legacy group does an excellent job performing the band's biggest hits.

My one gripe: Five minutes into the first song a couple chatty women decided to plop their lawnchairs about 5 feet to my right and then proceeded to talk during most of the show as they flipped through various pictures on their cell phones. Why sit so close to the stage (we were about 5 rows back) if you're not even going to pay attention, and, worse yet, TALK DURING MOST OF THE SHOW? Why not sit much further away from the stage if you insist on having a running conversation for over an hour? It amazes me how rude and thoughtless some people can be. Thankfully you can only hear them in the background on the recording.

Lineage:
Zoom H2 (120 degree mic pattern) > WAV (onto SD card) > Nero wave editor (trim & fade end tracks) > Cool Edit Pro (-2db to left channel and +2db to right channel to balance, then volume boost, hard limited to -0.1dB) > FLAC Frontend (sb-aligned) > FLAC

If you like this torrent, won't you please take a moment to post a comment on the board? It only takes a moment, and believe me, it takes A LOT longer to prepare/upload a show for others to enjoy than it does to download and run.
