In 1998 Harry Belafonte toured the US & Europe. Belafonte was just 61 years old, so his singing voice was still in excellent shape. The amplification seemed fine during the musical numbers but catching what Belafonte is saying to the audience between numbers is impossible. So there are stretches in the recording where all you hear is the audience responding and applauding to what he says. I removed one interminable stretch. Courtesy of ijwthstd.
