Harry Manx's signature "mysticssippi" blues is a blend of Indian folk melodies and instuments with the delta blues, gospel and folk music traditions of the American Deep South. Manx makes strangely delicious music: It's familiar and foreign at the same time.

David Lindley has been fusing musical idioms from his earliest days. Renowned for his solo on Jackson Browne's "Runnin' on Empty," Lindley has cut a singular musical path through more than three decades. His ability with a large arsenal of stringed instruments and his deft touch in every style, put him on the top of everyone's list of most able sidemen.

On a riany April the 13th, Manx and Lindley unleash some voodoo at Vancouver's Vogue Theatre.
