Ok so this is another one I received in a postal trade from way back when and again it's the
first time I've ever shared this outside of snailmail trading with anyone so there's a good chance many of you
may not have it.

Again another decent sounding show when compared to some that I've shared recently.

The good thing about the sound its has some depth and body to it. A lot of boots can sound tinny without
any bass so to speak of. This isn't like that at all, as I've said it is full bodied.

The taper once again has done a fantastic job here being in mind this was recorded some 43 years ago.

Again like a lot of audience recordings even from the today, is that they record the sound in the venue.

So in Manchester you'll always get a better capture from the Apollo as opposed to the Arena as the acoustics are so much better.

So this recording does have a little bit of that booming feeling to it in the sound.

The good thing to my old ears is that the sound is consistant throughout and your ears do get used to the sound.

I'm trying to be as honest as I can about the sound quality with you. But all things considered this is definately a 6 to 6.5/10 or VG+ to EX-
it really is an enjoyable show for sure with a great setlist.

I'd like to thank the taper and however traded this show with me all those years ago, thank you.

As always share freely but NEVER sell. Don't covert to lossy unless for personal use.

Lets remember Hawkwind are a current active touring band:

So support them by going to gigs, buying their cd's and merchandise etc. I will be there in Manchester to watch them in September 2021 and I'll be buying their new LP Somnia.

Check out their official website here: http://www.hawkwindmuseum.co.uk

Also check here for the bands current trading/recording policy: http://www.hawkwindmuseum.co.uk/trading%20rules.htm and this recording is allowed by the band under those rules.

You can also find detailed info on their re-issue back catologue here: http://cherryred.co.uk/atomhenge/main.htm

Lets keep those motors running.

Cheers
