This is a requested a digital version of this some weeks back. The tracking isn't how I would have done this personally,
but I'm very grateful to whoever taped and transferred this in times past. I'd give sound quality a 7 or 8/10. This is very listenable.
There are some problems with some tape rumble on disc 2 in particular, but nothing that's too intrusive really.

I'm not sure certain the folks of Aberdeen got such a different show from the rest of the tour but I absolutely love this recording.
It's my favourite from the little I've heard from this tour. The track listing is pretty different to other dates on the tour.
If memory serves me correctly, I think the stage may have been too small to do a full CotBS show with dancers and everything else so the set
list was changed accordingly - though I stand to be corrected on this. The track listing above is as best as I can make it out. Some of the instrumental
numbers/intros may have names, if anyone has a different, more correct track listing please feel free to post the details. There is no artwork with this.
If you feel like creating some, be my guest.

Please do not decode and transfer to empty3 (MP3) for distribution on other sites. If you want to decode to mp3 for personal use then that's your perogative.

MY NOTES

So here's another Hawkwind show I received in a postal trade way back.

I've checked the tracker and this show isn't on here, in fact this is a show I've never shared before outside of postal trading, so I expect there
will be quite a few on the tracker that doesn't have this in their collections.

This gig has solid sound for a 1985 Hawkwind audience recording it really is ok sounding, maybe not in the bracket of some of the shows I've just recently
shared but still an enjoyable listen.

The sound on this is more bootleggy, a wee bit distant and a bit thin. Your ears do adjust and if you have a decent graphics Equaliser then you can add some bass with a sub woofer
or through the various settings.

So the sound quality on this overall is good a solid 6/10 or VG+ to EX-.

So many thanks to the taper for recording this show, as a fellow taper I know all the trials and tribulations you go through
when recording a show. In fact the only time you know how it's gone is when you get home after the event and listen to it.

I'd also like to thank those generous folk that did cdr postal trades with me back in the day, it's because
of those kind folk I can now share this with you.

As always share freely but NEVER sell. Don't covert to lossy unless for personal use.

Lets remember Hawkwind are a current active touring band:

So support them by going to gigs, buying their cd's and merchandise etc.

I have already purchased their new album Somnia and its great.

Check out their official website here: http://www.hawkwindmuseum.co.uk

Also check here for the bands current trading/recording policy: http://www.hawkwindmuseum.co.uk/trading%20rules.htm and this recording is allowed by the band under those rules.

You can also find detailed info on their re-issue back catologue here: http://cherryred.co.uk/atomhenge/main.htm

Lets keep those motors running.

Cheers
