Downloaded from ijwthstd's blog (ijwthstd.blogspot.com) as an untracked wav file.
A Heartbreakers recording from this date was uploaded as Volume 18 of the "New Wave LA" series, recorded by RG. It looks like the band played two dates in LA on this tour, September 22 and 23. This is definitely a different recording and show than the RG tape. Thunders says "we'll be back tomorrow night" at the end of this show, so either they played two sets on the 22nd or the other recording's date is incorrect.
Anyway, caveat emptor with this one - poor sound (the first 5 songs are pretty much unlistenable) and from what I can make out, the performance was pretty lousy as well. Thunders and Lure call for Steve Jones from the Sex Pistols to join them on stage a couple of times, but it doesn't sound like he actually plays. At one point Lure asks if Jones has left already. There are some good Thunders witticisms between songs, for what that's worth. Mp3 sample in comments.
