Excellent concert of this group, very powerful and dynamic. Hendrix songs at its best interlaced with improvisations (named Transition Pieces).

Confession: I am not a big Jimi Hendrix fan. I don't dislike him; I like much of his music and appreciate his revolutionary guitar playing, but it's a bit too much on the blues rock side of things for me. I downloaded this show because of the phenomenal bass player, Jamaaladeen Tacuma.
To my surprise, I really enjoyed this show! It is done in a jazzy style with some experimental interludes in between songs. Great singing and playing by all! The sound quality is outstanding.
I believe that the band was called "Hendrix in Woodstock" at the time of this show. They later released an album credited to "Doran-Stucky-Studer-Tacuma" called "Call Me Helium" which I haven't heard (yet):
