Notes:
-Herbie makes it back to UA/Tucson for first time in many years on a short 6 show mini tour with his regular band for last couple years or so. These guys
are real tight together and took us on an amazing musical journey, albeit full of Herbie's standards at this point. Long and jammed out, feeling the
nuances between the notes with each other - wonderful performance! Mesmerizing!
-really impressed with Lionel and of course the rhythm guys!! Could do without the odd occasional electronic vocals though but didn't ruin it.
-Place seemed to be about 3/4's full - I was up on right side lower area but near top of it - still the sound is amazing! Really getting used to using
the Cores now & getting great results! The levels were saturated - I didn't realized the Automatic Gain Control was on - still no distortion, but I
did "de-"amplify the signal -5.0 db's with Audacity, so that's why it looks like a compressed signal under analysis. Definitely an "A-" imo!
-any help on rest of setlist (all familiar tunes) appreciated!
-another Sonoran Desert Recording taped, mastered and seeded by Matt23.
-do not sell in any form ever! Go see the jazz greats any opportunity you get before they all die off and you regret not seeing them!
