Taper's Notes:
Found this tape searching for tapes to digitize. Unfortunately it was on a Sony HF (rare, as I always recorded things on an SA, SAX, XL-II, etc.). No Dolby and most likely with a Sony D3 or D5 analog machine. Have no idea what mics I was using, although I did have some Curch sneak-a-mics back in the day and the bass response is fairly decent so I suspect I used them with a phantom 9V power supply. I'd say this is from the master or one gen off. Regardless, I decided to grab this to digital a few nights ago with my D-6 recorder that's been in the shop for like a year. It's supposed to be fine, but after 30 mins, the output volume decreases subsantially and then distortion comes on. Therefore, this was done in 4 takes (each take before the distrotion/volume reduction) then I spliced the tracks for each side as well as side A and B together to make a seemless recording. I have no idea what the tunes were so I did not do any tracking. If anyone wants to do that, feel free and either re-upload the show or send me some semblance of what is what. Btw, as far as I know a recording of this show does not exist anywhere else. My ticket is included in the download to show where in the venue the recording was captured.
