Recorded by yours truly at front row dead center. Unfortunately no barstool/bartable available, but I was happy to reach the stage through tons of mud...and getting a pole position, too.
A few - to me unknownst - crackers from the mics audible, for unknown reason. Maybe the mud crawled ito the OKMs? As all other later recordings were ok, it maybe just an unknown
sympthom of the universe...Overall sound was again very bass heavy, so I tried to balance that just a minor little bit. Anyway, sounds a bit muddy...sometimes...

Awaiting the arrive of dear taper brother PROPYLAEN during the opening sets of DANA FUCHS and ANATHEMA, I finally got my gear for the hard walk down to the main stage. As I've been to
Herzberg at least 16 times, I've never seen such a mud-battle. Neither did myself experienced such a thing before. After slip-sliding what I thought were miles, I finally found real
earth ground, and saw the front row almost empty! Nice chance to slip into a good position, as the place soon was filled with hundrets (or thousands?) of music-hungry people. This
tape was again a labour of love, as I like their sound very much. If you ever seen the great OZRIC TENTACLES (I mean in the 1990s-2002) you know what to expect from this music. For the
unexperienced: Fantastic instrumental spacerock with world-music influences, and - ok - something of a bit technoid approach. But all whirled up in a highspeed mixer, and you get a
well unique sound. My forehead down in the mud for this superb performance. Hope you space-out on this, too? I know you will. SB.
