High Tide (UK band)
BBC Top Gear
London, UK
original session date 1970-03-24, first broadcast 1970-04-11, and repeated 1970-06-27

Recorded and digitized by Ace Rimmer (THANK YOU ACE!)
As Ace wasn't sure about the broadcast date, I chose original session date for the purpose of this post (as suggested by goody on one of my previous posts).

If you like heavy prog you will probably like this UK band that released two albums during their original 1969-1970 run. They reformed in the 1990's.
Their first album "Sea Shanties" was voted number 5 in the All-Time 50 Long Forgotten Gems from Colin Larkin's "All Time Top 1000 Albums".

Lineage: original BBC AM radio broadcast -> unknown mono reel-to-reel-recorder -> master off-air mono reel-to-reel tape -> unknown digital transfer method -> wave ->
flac (level 8 via TLH)

I've received tracks in MONO 16-44 wav format, converted them to flac level 8 with TLH, and created info file.

Set-list (two tracks from their yet to be released second album):
1. The Joke (10:10)
2. Saneonymous (11:42)

Roger Hadden - drums, piano, pipe organ
Tony Hill - guitar, vocals, acoustic guitar, organ
Simon House - electric violin, organ, piano
Peter Pavli - bass guitar

Original info from Ace: "from Top Gear, 1970. Medium wave broadcast, not the best quality"
