This was a tremendous gig, I was in the front row just below Hiromi (as you'll see if you check
out the sample). I had a front monitor right in front of me too which helped make this a very
nice recording. I have to comment on why the track index looks silly though.

Every gig seems to have a performer, not only on stage but always right next to me too. This is
annoying at times, having grown men and women craving the attention of those on stage even though
they are performing. This night was no different, the guy to the left of me kept wiggling and
moving all through the gig. His girlfriend seemed really embarrassed, as the whole audience sat
and enjoyed the music but he seemed to be unable to control himself. This also meant clapping and
shouting. I know, I know, it's a concert bladibladibla, but when you are the only one NOT being
able to sit still then YOU are the one who have to change. The world does not circulate around you.
Enough ranting :) I chose to index the gig by isolating the music as best it could be done. This
means that you can listen to all the song tracks and skip out on all the applause tracks, if
you only want to hear the wonderful music. You'll miss my neighbours intense clapping and wooooo's,
but you'll also miss out on Hiromi's talking which occured once or twice. You decide. I wanted it
this way.

Second note: What to do about "Firefly"? The best song of the evening, enchanting and beautiful. I
told Hiromi so afterwards too. The song is very quiet, and you have to adjust your volume quite a
bit when listening to the gig which also means you get more hiss. I opted for doing it like this:
the track in sequence (no.12) is untampered, it's taken straight off the recording. The two last
tracks in this torrent, however, have been worked on a bit by me. The first of them (no.17) have
had the volume raised by 6dB, I think this is the one I'll use for myself when listening to the
gig. The second extra track (no.18) has had some EQ'ing done, not too much but I managed to remove
some of the hiss. You decide whether to keep it, I think I may use this to do a youtube film.

There you have it. All in all a pretty damn good recording, sorry for my ranting above, please
enjoy the wonderful music.
