Thirty years on, this still sounds great.

The 7th Honeydrippers show,it's a little ropey here and there, as I couldn't get close to the PA due to the crush... but it clears up nicely later on. It's a pity the boneheads reserve the loudest cheers for anything that vaguely resembled a Zeppelin tune, but it's a great show nonetheless.

It was a lovely sunny, May evening, and Robert Plant even walked up and down the queue outside Cavendish House before the show, wearing a Hawaiian shirt and with his trademark locks shorn jaw-length. He wasn't recognised by anyone else... and no one believed me until he hit the stage in the same blue shirt and with short hair...

A companion to the Derby Blue Note from April, this, at least, has a complete version of Bring It On Home. I've completed the Original Artist credits too.

I'm not sure how many other Honeydrippers shows circulate, but this one's out at last.

Share and enjoy!
