Notes:
Ian (General Electric LL) sent me
various discs with this show contained
on them. I took his final product
and converted it to Flac16.

Hound Dog Taylor played in a power
blues trio in Chicago. He was one
of the best early slide players.
He died of cancer in 1975.

There is a rough recording and there
is some hiss on it. It is a live studio
recording so its an imprompt jam
session. Not many recordings of
Hound dog and to find this many
songs we need to thank Ian for
this classic old recording. This
is listenable and doesn't sound
bad when the band is playing.

This is just great music by
a master slide player. Think its
classic that this recording is
rough, sort of goes with this
music.

Performance: A
Sound Quality: B/B+

wondering if u r in2 Hound Dog Taylor, as i've
a couple of CDs from ABC Radio, Australia's gov't
owned broadcaster, that were recorded in their
studios in '75 when he was touring here. It's
material that hasn't been released before, 2
my knowledge.

Wasn't actually a show as far as i know. I burnt
a copy from two burnt discs that were lent to me.
1 disc was marked with the date 03-14-75 and the
serial 89/CD/995, and the other had no date, just
the serial 89/CD/1676. 1975 was very definitely
pre-FM in Australia.
