HOWLIN' WOLF ALUMNI
A tribute to celebrate the 100th birthday of Howlin' Wolf
Chicago Blues Festival
Chicago, IL
June 11, 2010

Recorded by Roy Martin from probably the 1st or 2nd row of
the Petrillo Band Shell using a set of Core Sound Stealthy
Cardioid mics plugged into a Zoom H2 recorder.

Captured as a 16-bit/44.1kHz WAV.

Cool Edit Pro 2.0 used for beginning/ending fades.

No EQ performed, so salt & pepper to taste.

CD Wave Editor used to split the large WAV.

Trader's Little Helper used to fix SBEs ("-fixed" removed from
the filenames) and encoding to FLAC (Level 8).

The great performers, in no particular order:

Eddie Shaw - sax, vocals
Abb Locke - sax
Jody Williams - guitar
Sam Lay - guitar
Henry Gray - piano
Corky Siegel - harp
Hubert Sumlin - guitar
Shorty Gilbert - bass
Eddie 'Vaan' Shaw - guitar
Tim Taylor - drums
Rob Scott (?) - keyboards

Also in attendance, but too ill to perform, was Little Smokey Smothers.

TOTAL TIME - 65:24
