SUA person went to KCI airport to pick up Hunter. He was drunk and drinking and
fighting with his girlfriend at the airport. He ended up arriving about three hours
late. The ballroom was packed and everyone waited. When he got to the podium the
first thing he did was reach out and wipe out all the microphones. The sound person
put the PA mic back. I had a press pass and was the only person patched into the
board. After the show he went to the room that was rented for him at the Holiday Inn
with a friend of mine and as the story goes, they destroyed the room. I know this
isn't music/music related, but thought it was interesting enough to share.
