Short-but-sweet set from the legendary Ian Hunter and his band of seasoned ranters, opening for the J Geils Band. I missed recording the set opener, Once Bitten, Twice Shy, because I was in stand-by when I thought I was in record. Rookie error! But hey, I�ve only been taping shows for 34 years so I�m still learning.

Then the monitor system wreaked havoc on the live sound and Ian ended When I�m President halfway through the song. Too bad, for it�s a gorgeous tune. A die-hard fan seized the moment to get her LP signed by Ian while the crew were trying to track down the source of the clicking sounds. I made the pause its own track so the listener can skip it or ditch it. I like the realism of it.
