I Firs Met J.B. Richie In 1988 At Shades as he Played there quite a bit we really got to know each other when I found out he thought I was sleeping with his girlfriend at the time(I wasnt) after talking and toasting Psyco Bitches over drinks we became friends. Throughout the years I would see him play off and on and run into him at various music events. Time passed I got married had children so we didnt see each othe as much. Jump ahead ended up divorced kids grown up and got in touch with J.B. again he was hosting a few open Jams in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago so once again we conected in the music world. durring this last year I found out he had 3 srokes the first leaving him with the task of having to relearn to plat the guitar however. after the second and third he was to never play again. Unfortunately a couple days ago he passed henc me digging this out and sharing it with people who may have seen him play or people wh may jus want to hear some wickid blues. It also features anothe frien of mine who the Chicago blues community lost a few years back right aroun this time the great
