*Unknown female singer sings lead on Heart of Fire and backs up on Tellin' My Friends. Heart of Fire is a Mary Russell song released on the 1979 album of the same name on Paradise Records. After a career in Little Sister and work with Sly and the Family Stone in the early 70s, Mary McCreary married Leon Russell in 1976 and they wrote and produced music together.
Could it be Mary singing here?

notes
- This is the first source in digital circulation.
- CD transfer ran very fast, about 7%, quite unlistenable. Speed fix determined by comparing July 22 version of Dear Prudence, since no other source material circulates for this date. Jerry sounds like himself now.
- Dolby was not decoded on the transfer. I did my best to equalize it to a proper listening curve.
- based on the tape start and stop instead of pause like the rest of the show before the very short version of Tellin' My Friends, the hello to fans and following cheer and the subsequent tune up, as well as guest female vocals - my ears think it is the encore.
- It is a bLLessing this CD transfer exists, or we may not know this strong show as listeners and should.
