Great set from the veteran Boston rockers. I was there primarily to hear the great Ian Hunter's opening set and I had never seen the J. Geils Band live before. I was knocked out by their musicality, professionalism, and showmanship. This is how it's done.
If anyone is interested I will post the 24-bit/48 khz version, as well. I also captured Ian Hunter's opening set but missed the first song. I'll gladly post it when I get around to editing it.
If you know the name of the blues instrumental that opened the show, please let me know. It sounded kind of Butterfield-esque. I dont think it was Sno-Cone, the Albert Collins tune they used at shows earlier this year.
