Total Time ::: 1:14:26
::: EXC quality SBD. Check samples for spit or swallow determination.
::: Warts: Not many! Low level line hum can be heard at times & between trax. 1 second of on-stage crackle at start of #10. Few split seconds of cable(?) noise in #15 mostly fixed.
::: CONTRAST CLAUSE: This is the Mk2 version WITH noise reduction to remove hum. Seek out the Mk1 version without NR, if you so desire.
::: KPIG Radio's first Fat Fry Festival featured the Seldom Scene, Queen Ida, Greg Brown, J.J. Cale.
::: A more stripped down band than the summer tour (no James Karstein or Jim Gordon).
Recording Information ::: mono soundboard mix -> unknown recording equipment (probably digital) -> ? (probably all digital) -> flac.
Playback 2015-09-xx ::: flac -> -> Audacity [normalisation to remove DC offset, fades, manual one-at-a-time glitch, bump, pop, click, dropout & dullspot repairs, volume adjustments, +0.7% averaged pitch (speed) fix with single pass after frequency analysis & with pitchpipe verification, NO equalisation but this Mk2 version has some noise reduction applied to remove hum] -> CD Wave (track splits) -> flacs (Trader's Little Helper) -> yr ears. First uploaded week of 2015-09-19.
Line-up ::: J.J. Cale - electric guitar, vocals // Christine Lakeland - electric guitar // Bob Glaub - electric bass // James Cruce - drums.
Nothing here ever commercially released to my knowledge. If I'm wrong, please advise & I'll take the offending trax offline.
DimeTravel 186 ::: Thanks to the original taper & traders! This came to me courtesy of DIMER peterfisker. ::: Corrections welcome ::: This is a REAL fine listen. One could grouch & complain the drums mix a bit loud at times or the bass mix a bit low thruout, but then they'd have to temper that with the fact that Cale's guitar & vocal mix is quite loud in the volume - often not true with his vocals. Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yrs truly, Knees
