Session 1. Recorded at Maida Vale Studios, London, England, 10 August 1971. This was originally broadcast in two parts on 31 August 1971 and 23 February 1972.

Session 2. The 1978 session was recorded on 26 June 1978, when the trio called itself "At the Third Stroke" after what at the time, was the GPO's phone-accessible speaking clock.

Both sessions were remastered and torrented by tom_phillips back in 2007 in what I believe is their complete form. The original tom_phillips info file is included here. My thanks to him for information and background, and to Hopboy for digging out files from his great collection for comparison.

"Spirit - Jack Bruce Live at the BBC 1971-1978" (Polydor 5305568) was released in 2008 (a great CD set that you should get if you don't already have it). It has all of the 1978 session, but only three tracks from the 1971 recording (D1):
