Jack Bruce & Friends
January 12, 1972
Live at the Kongresshalle
Frankfurt Germany

"Jack Bruce & Friends" at the time were:
Jack Bruce, Graham Bond, John Marshall, Chris Spedding and Art Themen

1 Intro and Tuning
2 You Burned The Tables on Me
3 Politician
4 A Letter Of Thanks
5 Third Degree
6 Traintime
7 Powerhouse Sod
8 Sunshine Of Your Love

Notes: At the end of track five, Jack introduces the band but
does not seem to mention Graham Bond.

Track seven is a 29 minute Powerhouse Sod jam - and it
was longer at the show! ... Total excess... I love it.

It has a tape flip cut at appx 20:07 as John Marshall's drum solo
must have gone on too long for the tape.
After the cut, it picks back up just in time for Jacks great
bass solo shenanigans that this tune is known for.

Also, at the 24:16 to 25:17 mark, Jack does a blues tune vocal
variation that I don’t recall hearing before, and its one I cant name.

The exact lineage is unknown but probably: audience > low gen cassette tape > CDR.
The sound quality is good for the times but not spectacular.
The performance is great, somewhat "loopy" at times, and definitely a fun listen.
