JACK BRUCE- GINGER BAKER-BIRELI LAGRENE-COURTNEY PINE as 'ERE'
Arnes de Cimiez,
Nice, France
July 10th and/or 11th 1986 (2 probably partial shows - read below)
'La Grande Parade du Jazz' festival

SOURCE: VG++ 2nd gen stereo rare audience tape traded in the 90's.

PLEASE NOTE: this band played at this festival 2 gigs on July 10th and 2 gigs on July 11th, 1986. I believe my offer comes from 2 of these gigs, because we have
2 different versions of 'First Time I Met The Blues' and the sound quality is slightly different between side A and side B which are both seamless.
.

A partial 47 min FM version (unknown gen) taken from hopboy's Jack Bruce collection exists; I believe
it came from several concerts from this festival. At first sight the only song in common with this post is Track 101.

The music here is mostly jazzy, not rock. The free style sax may bore at times those who don't like this instrument.
You will hear every note of Jack Bruce's fascinating bass playing. The rock magazines wrote that it was 'Cream II': very silly indeed, unless they
considered a'Cream II' could have been a sax driven project, despite Lagrene who is on stage but is rather confident ;-)

LINEAGE : unknown mic and DAT.
-> 2nd gen Maxell XLIIs cassette
-> Nakamichi Dragon (with NAAC auto-azimuth)
-> Zoom H2 -> Goldwave v.5.69 for tracks, edits, channel mix, maximize.
-> TLH 2.4.1 (build 160)-> FLAC level 8 align on sector boundaries, md5s, ffps.
