Not much is known about this infamous trio of Jack Bruce and his two german friends, Rainer Baumann (guitar) and Zabba Lindner (drums). In the early 70ties, Rainer Baumann was playing guitar for FRUMPY, later on he had his own "Rainer Baumann Band", while german underground drum legend Zabba Lindner had been active in groups like Tomorrow«s Gift or B Sharp before. Sadly, Rainer passed away in 2007. All info that I could get was that this show took place in August 1984, local blues band B Sharp was the support act for this show. I assume that the tape does not feature the complete concert, but rather the better part of the 2nd half of the show. This is all there is, as far as I know the master is lost.
The quality of the recording is reminding us about the recording device: an absolutely cheap pre-historic eighties walkman, and there is A LOT of hiss on this tape. I thought about working on this issue but decided to leave this as it is and just give you the raw source. The basic recording is not that bad actually once you have adjusted your ears to the noise :-)
Not much stuff out there from this line-up, so here you have it...enjoy!
